DANIELA AND MICHE -

TWO CHILDREN FROM PERU (DANIELA UND MICHE - ZWEI KINDER AUS PERU)

Documentary for children 2015

Daniela and Miche live in Ayacucho, a city in the Peruvian Andes. They are eleven and thirteen years old. Daniela works in her father's fruit shop, Miche weaves carpets and blankets at home that are sold on the market.

The film shows a day in the life of the two children between work, school and children's house. It gives a direct insight into their lives without focusing on their poverty. At the same time, it shows the diversity and contradictory nature of the life and culture of the Andes.

DANIELA UND MICHE is a film for young viewers and was produced by the Bavarian Teachers' Association (BLLV). It is shown in numerous schools throughout Bavaria in grades 3 to 7 in class.
